The purpose of the role is to be responsible for creating engaging, informative, and high-quality content for various digital platforms, including websites, blogs, social media, email marketing, and more. This role requires creativity, excellent writing skills, and the ability to adapt to different tones and styles to effectively communicate with CAVA’s target audience


• Content Creation

  1. Write and edit clear, concise, and engaging content for online channels, including articles, blog posts, social media updates, email newsletters, product descriptions, and more
  2. Develop creative, compelling, and on-brand copy that resonates with our target audience
  3. Conduct research to gather information and insights for content development.

• Content Strategy

  1. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute content strategies that align with CAVA’s business goals, brand guidelines, and SEO best practices
  2. Stay updated on industry trends and competitor content to ensure our content remains relevant and competitive 

• SEO Optimization

  1. Implement SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and meta descriptions
  2. Conduct thorough keyword research to identify relevant topics and optimize content for search engine rankings
  3. Monitor and analyse the perf

• Content Calendar Management

  1. Work to develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely content delivery
  2. Manage content deadlines and schedules, prioritizing urgent or time-sensitive content needs
  3. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content aligns with overall marketing initiatives and campaigns
  4. Collaborate with other team members, including designers and product managers, to ensure content meets the desired objectives and aligns with brand aesthetics

• Editing and Proofreading

  1. Review and proofread content to ensure it is error-free, well-structured, and adheres to CAVA style and brand guidelines
  2. Collaborate with team members to refine and improve content quality. 

• Audience Engagement

  1. Respond to audience comments and feedback on digital platforms to foster engagement and build a sense of community
  2. Analyse user data and feedback to improve content strategy and user experience 

• Analytics and Reporting

  1. Track and analyse content performance using analytics tools to measure engagement, reach, and conversion rates
  2. Use data insights to refine content strategies and tactics

Qualifications & Experience 

  • Proven experience as a Content Writer, preferably in the D2C industry
  • 2-Strong portfolio showcasing content written for D2C brands, including website copy, blog articles, social media posts, and email campaigns
  • 3-Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • 4-Proficiency in conducting keyword research and utilizing SEO best practices to optimize content
  • 5-Basic knowledge of content ranking factors and competitor research
  • 6-Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and SEO tools
  • 7-Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • 8-Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • 9-Passion for fitness, athleisure, and the D2C industry is a plus
