The purpose of the role is to be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth objectives.
Do
Financial Operations & Analysis
- Manage day to day financial account for CAVA through:
- Maintenance of records of vouchers, invoices, payments, etc.
- Handling day-to-day accounting
- Preparing and processing invoices and following up for pending payments
- Reconcile bank statements
- Handling all banking related works
- Analyse financial data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management
- Assist with budget preparation
Financial Reporting & Audit
- Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and variance analysis on a monthly, quarterly & annual basis
- Participate in financial audits on a regular basis
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and reporting standards
Inventory Management
- Oversee inventory management processes, including monitoring stock levels, inventory turnover, and pricing strategies
- Implement strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize holding costs
Cash Flow Management
- Manage cash flow, including working capital and capital expenditure planning
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Manage payment gateways
- Manage Tally Cloud
Tax and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, including sales tax, and regulatory requirements specific to the retail industry
- Ensure GST reconciliation, GST filing & TDS returns
- Prepare and submit tax returns and coordinate with external auditors during audits
Stakeholder Relations
• Build and maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and financial institutions

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (Master's degree or relevant certifications, such as CPA or CMA, preferred)
- Proven experience in a finance role, preferably within the retail or e-commerce sector
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting standards
- Proficiency in financial analysis and modeling
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in financial software like Tally and Microsoft Excel
