Role Purpose
The purpose of the role is to be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective planning, implementation, and control of the movement and storage of goods, materials, and products throughout the supply chain.
KRAs:
Logistics Coordination
- Plan, coordinate, and manage the transportation and storage of goods from suppliers to warehouses, and from warehouses to customers.
- Handling orders, management & dispatch in a timely manner
Inventory & Warehouse Management
- Ensure the timely movement and accurate tracking of inventory levels to avoid stockouts or overstock situations
- Multiple warehouse management
- MBO/ EBO inventory management
Supply Chain Optimization
- Develop strategies to streamline logistics operations, reduce costs, and improve efficiency. Monitor and analyse performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement.
Vendor Management
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, carriers, and suppliers. Negotiate contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure optimal service.
Budgeting and Cost Control
- Develop and manage logistics budgets. Implement cost-saving initiatives and identify areas for efficiency improvements within the logistics operations.
Compliance and Regulations
- Ensure all logistics activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., transportation, health and safety, and environmental regulations).
Technology Integration
- Utilize logistics management software, ERP systems, and other tools to track shipments, manage inventory, and analyze performance data.
- Proficient in use of Uniware & Shiprocket dashboards
Reporting & Customer Satisfaction
- Prepare regular reports for senior management on logistics performance, inventory levels, transportation costs, and customer satisfaction
- Address and resolve any logistical challenges, delays, or issues that arise within the supply chain or distribution network
- Ensure customer orders are delivered on time and meet the required quality standards

Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of logistics software, transportation management systems (TMS), and warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Proven track record of managing and improving logistics processes and systems
- Experience with vendor negotiation and managing third-party service providers
